About This Job at Go-To Transport

Go-To Transport is Hiring a CDL-A licensed driver with 2 years of verified experience. Go-To is focused on improving the quality of life for a driver. We offer weekly home time, referral bonuses, and a family like atmosphere.

Compensation

• Average pay: $1,450 per week
  • 2 years of verified experience 31% of line haul
  • 3-5 years verified experience 33% of line haul
  • 5+ years verified experience  35% of line haul
• Additional pay:
  • $15/hr Breakdown pay, max of $200 for the day,
  • Detention pay- based on the customer, typically paid after 2 hours
  • Deadhead is paid after 90miles @ .30cpm
•  Bonuses:
  • $2,500 referral bonus ($500 at 30 days, $1,000 at 90 days, $1,000 at 120 days)
• Paid via Direct Deposit Weekly

• Take your Truck home program depeneding on location
• No Slip seating

Home Time Route & Schedule

• Home time: on the road 2-3 nights per week
• Schedule- Monday-Friday
•  Route: Within 150 miles of Romulus, MI
•  Level of Touch: Drop & Hook, live Load/Unload

Equipment

• 2018, 2020, 2022 Freightliner Cascadia’s
• Automatic
• APU’s
• ELD – Tablet/Geotab
• Cameras (not on driver)
• Tractors are governed @ 70 cruise/65 pedal
• Trailer – 53’ Air Ride (equipped w/ air inflation for tires)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• 2 years verified Tractor/Trailer Experience Required in last 5 years
• Clean driving record , no more than 1 accident in last 12 months, no more than 3 in the last 36 months
• X-Endorsement (hazmat/tanker) not required, but highly recommended
• Must live within 50 Miles of Romulus, MI
